The premiere of The Book of Boba Fett is one of the most highly anticipated events this year and the first episode certainly did not disappoint. Episode 1 gave fans an emotional glimpse at Boba's history and that meant finally solving one of Star Wars' best-known mysteries. SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
In The Book of Boba Fett Episode 1, fans were reminded about everything that happened to Boba in the past. This meant revisiting Kamino and the death of Jango Fett on Geonosis. However, one of the best things we saw in the episode was the scene showing how Boba survived the Pit of Carkoon.
As it turns out, Boba's armor helped prevent him from being digested by the Sarlacc. He also used a dead Stormtrooper's oxygen supply to get energy then fired his handy flamethrower to damage the Sarlacc's belly. Finally, Boba slowly crawled his way out of the pit that would have been his grave.
That took a lot of energy so it's no surprise that Boba fainted after making it out of the pit. This is when the Jawas stole his armor and left him for dead. However, Boba was later found and taken by Tusken raiders.
It's great to finally know what happened to Boba Fett after we thought he was effectively killed in Return of the Jedi. Still, many believed that the character was meant to survive and get his own awesome Star Wars show and that's why we're here.
The premiere episode of The Book of Boba Fett set the pace for the series which is now expected to feature a lot of flashbacks while following Boba's new journey as the crime lord of Tatooine. We have yet to meet the main antagonist but there's a good chance they will be introduced next week.
