After nearly a decade, Red is ready for one last trip before hanging up his hat. The Blacklist Season 10 will be the final season, NBC confirmed on Feb. 1.
NBC Announces The Blacklist Season 10 as the Last Season
In The Blacklist, James Spader plays criminal mastermind Raymond Reddington, who decides to turn himself in and collaborate with the FBI to bring down other criminals in exchange for immunity. It made its debut in 2013.

“After 10 years, hundreds of Blacklist cases, and more than 200 episodes produced, we’re honored to reach our conclusion,” showrunner and executive producer John Eisendrath said in a statement. “It’s been incredibly fun to create the strange, devious, and delightful Blacklisters to challenge Raymond Reddington and our FBI Task Force each week."
“We appreciate our dedicated fanbase who came along for this wonderful ride and are excited to share this final season with them,” Eisendrath added.
The Blacklist’s Impact
Jon Bokenkamp, who also works with Eisendrath as an executive producer on the program, is the creator of The Blacklist.
The most recent ninth season, which aired from October 2021 to May 2022 and reached 29.1 million viewers on NBC, more than doubled its 18-49 demo and total viewers in L+35 vs. same day and has subsequently been a huge commercial and critical success for NBC.
The show has also received numerous award nominations and wins, including two Golden Globe nominations for series star James Spader, one Emmy Award win and eight nominations in the stunt categories, an Emmy nomination for guest star Alan Alda, a SAG Award nomination, two People's Choice Award nominations, three Environmental Media Association Award wins, and multiple Guild of Music Supervisors Award nominations.

The Blacklist Season 10 Release Date
The Blacklist Season 10 will air on NBC on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 10 p.m. ET. The momentous 200th episode of the show will air on Sunday, March 19.
The final season will put Red in greater danger than ever before, as his role as an FBI informant is set to be revealed, and a group of Blacklisters will band together to exact their vengeance. According to the official description, this will "test Red and the FBI Task Force as never before."
