The recently-aired episode 6 of The Acolyte may have teased an unexpected dark side turn for Osha.

Last week's episode ended with a switcheroo between the twin characters as Mae ended up taking the place of her sister after she cut her bangs and pretended to be Osha, joining Sol in escaping from the jungles while Osha was left unconscious and discovered by Qimir.

Fans are wondering what's next for Osha now that she is in the company of the Sith Lord and whether she will be manipulated to turn into the dark side.

Spoiler Warning: This article includes spoilers for The Acolyte episode 6, so proceed with caution.

Did The Acolyte Episode 6 Tease a Dark Side Turn for Osha?

Episode 6 of The Acolyte titled "Teach/Corrupt" began with Osha awakening in Qimir's cave on an unknown planet where he resides and realizing that she is in the purview of the Sith Lord.

Osha tried to steal Qimir's lightsaber while he was taking a bath, but she was immediately caught. Interestingly, Qimir reacted calmly and gave tips to Osha on how to properly handle a lightsaber.

Qimir reminded Osha of her anger when she asked him whether he killed Sol and Mae during the battle in Khofar and took notice of how she was more concerned about her master.

As the episode went by, Osha slowly opened up to Qimir as she noticed that he had scars throughout his body while the Sith Lord shared that he was a trained Jedi and advised Osha that Sol would come for her with his power.

Qimir also told Osha that the Force can be accessed through anger, fear, loss, and desire (which is very familiar to many fans who have followed a certain character's journey in the prequel trilogy). Osha responded by saying that she is not easily corrupted like her sister.

Qimir dared Osha to kill him with the lightsaber. Osha hesitated as Jedis were not supposed to kill the unharmed. However, Qimir questioned why she kept calling herself a Jedi and reminded her again of the anger and fear that she felt when her Jedi training ended.

While Qimir was fixing his helmet, he told Osha that he wanted the "power of two" and revealed that his helmet blocked his senses so that he could explore the Force by himself. He also invited her to wear the helmet.

The episode ended with Osha looking at Qimir's helmet. She was initially hesitant to put it on, but eventually, she wore it and we heard a familiar sound that is usually associated with Darth Vader.

Is this an indication that Osha may be turning to the dark side? That looks to be the case as we're seeing signs that she is getting swayed by Qimir. For now, let's wait and see how it all unfolds in the last two episodes.

New episodes of The Acolyte premiere every Tuesday night on Disney+.
