1000-Lb Sisters Star Tammy Slaton Calls Herself 'Lil Kitty' On TikTok
Tammy Slaton's fans were happy when they learned that she checked into a rehab facility for weight loss after surviving a major health scare. However, some of them interpreted Tammy's presence on social media against her. Many would comment on her videos to take her health seriously when she already does.
The TLC clapped back at them by enjoying her TikTok videos while still in the rehab facility. In one entry, she used a filter calling herself "Lil Kitty" while bopping her head to Eminem's song My Name Is, Screen Rant reported.
Tammy used the filter to find a new moniker and it landed on the feline term prompting the reality star to giggle. The other options include "Da Disease" and "King Mommy."
She was also seen lip-syncing to Eminem's lyrics with an oxygen tube in her throat. The outlet noted that most of Tammy's followers did not like the video because they felt that she was refusing to improve her health.
Tammy Slaton Called Out 1000-Lb Sisters Fans Who Criticized Her
Tammy Slaton is trying to better herself. In fact, she personally paid for the pricey rehab. According to her sister, Amy Slaton, she lost her home because she couldn't afford to pay the rent due to the rehab expenses.
In the 1000-Lb Sisters Season 3 finale, Tammy clarified that she would be taking care of herself. She knew that she made mistakes in the past as seen in the third season's episode where partied, got drunk with her friends and even vaped. At the time, she said, she was only trying to love herself. After being hospitalized, Tammy realized the right thing to do to love herself.
"I'm not doing this for anybody but myself," she said in the season's finale. "I've decided to put myself first. Take care of Tammy."
In a since-deleted TikTok video, Tammy fired back at one critic who slammed her for allegedly not taking care of herself.
"If she doesn’t care about taking care of herself, let her put herself in her grave," the netizen wrote.
Tammy was upset when she addressed the netizen. She also urged her fans to support her and not hold her back.
"Honestly, I’m trying. But y’all just wanna keep holding me back. How the f--k do you expect me to win? How the f--k do you expect somebody to do great and be great if y’all keep holding me down?" Tammy said.
Tammy added that "true fans would ride or die." However, sensing that not everyone would appreciate her efforts, the social media personality ended the video by saying, "The jokes on y’all. I’m using all y’all’s hate to thrive. Now you know why I keep posting videos. Because I don’t care what all y’all think."
Tammy's brother Chris said she already lost 115 lbs after 30 days while in the rehab facility. Her family is hopeful that she will qualify for bariatric surgery when she returns home.
