It's no secret that several characters will be coming back in the final season of Supernatural. After all, hell has been busted wide open and just about everyone who has a grudge against the Winchesters will be out to find them. But which character does Jared Padalecki want to see again? The answer is pretty obvious yet still a little surprising.
Padalecki recently spoke to Collider about Supernatural Season 15 and he admits that there is one character he feels should be brought back in the final season. However, there's a possibility that Sam Winchester's brother Dean Winchester won't be too happy about it.
"I don't know if I'm allowed to say. I don't have any knowledge of this happening, but I do think it'd be fun to see my wife on the show again," Padalecki said.
The answer is pretty obvious considering that Padalecki met wife Genevieve Cortese while working on Supernatural. However, her character Ruby was also the demon that convinced Sam to drink demon blood and ultimately release Lucifer from Hell. Nevertheless, Padalecki clarified that he does want Ruby to return in the final season.
"As Ruby, not as Gen, because in [the episode] French Mistake, she played herself, or a version of herself. So, I'd love to see my wife on the show again, if she's available and willing to come do the monkey dance again. But there are so many people," he said.
We're not sure if that's going to be a good idea because Dean really hates Ruby. On the other hand, it would be fun to revisit one of the most important characters in the Winchesters' story.
Supernatural Season 15 airs on The CW every Thursday nights.
