One of the most famous, if not the most famous DC Hero, returns on the small screen with the newest superhero drama TV series of Superman & Lois in The CW's Arrowverse. Quite a strong premiere of the series, fans are thrilled to see Superman lord the skies once again on television.
The premiere of Superman & Lois left a lasting impression given its 90-minute airtime and the story itself paying homage to much of the DC Comics, TV, and film history of one of the most well-explored characters in the DC Comics and the entire live-adaptation history of superheroes.
Much to the excitement comes the relatability of the fans and viewers to the hero himself, Superman, who will be facing one of the greatest challenges he faced since time immemorial, together with his wife, Lois Lane – being parents to their teenage sons, Jonathan and Jordan – the life of a working parent whilst saving the world at the same time.
Clark Kent and Lois Lane return home, to where Superman grew up, in Smallville, where they would be raising their children in the idyllic and quiet town full of memories of Clark's childhood.
Starring Tyler Hoechlin as Superman/ Clark Kent, and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, the couple will be joined by Jordan Elsas as Jonathan Kent and Alexander Garfin as Jordan Kent, Dylan Walsh as General Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, and Wolé Parks as the villain.
Superman & Lois has recently been officially renewed for a second season which means that the only limit that the series has now is the skies. Hopefully, the show would be able to maintain the momentum it has set for the first two episodes throughout the series and with the second season already lined up. Superman & Lois is considered as one of the most ambitious series within the Arroverse following The Flash and Supergirl.

Superman & Lois Episode 2 Recap
This week's episode is titled Heritage which opens to the scene where the Kent family is finally moving to Smallville and stay at the Kent farm. Jonathan and Jordan are still awestruck with their father flying around carrying their stuff. In their family dinner, Clark warns Jordan with the use of his newfound powers which did not turn out good as he walked out, upset.
Clark and Lois went to talk to themselves about their children and the Stranger, Captain Luthor, who is searching for kryptonite which he'll be using to take down Superman saying he wants to stop Kal-el before destroying the world.
Clark brought Jordan to the Fortress of Solitude where his father died. He hopes that the fortress would be able to answer some of Jordan's questions and there he met Jor-El who found out that Jordan is carrying the torch of the continuation of their Kryptonian Lineage.
Lois, on the other hand, was researching while at a local diner when she crossed paths with Lana who invited their family to a barbeque. Upon returning home, Lois informs Clark that she will be bringing their children to the city council meeting as regards the Edge proposal. Lois, at the council meeting, asks Chrissy Beppo, Smallville Gazette journalist, as regards the proposal.
General Lane, or Sam, in short, met with Clark to talk about Captain Luthor. Sam asserts that Clark has left the simple life long before and with that, he stripped his family of everything they had back in the city. Sam, furious, tells Clark that he's the one who'll be tearing their family apart.
Later on, a stand-off between Captain Luthor and Superman ensues in Magnolia. Upon realizing that there is a bomb in Captain Luthor's suit, Superman chose to save everyone and takes away the exploding ship quickly away from harm's way.
Jonathan, on the other hand, was at the football practice where he is eager to show his capabilities to their coach. His coach turned him down by saying he has to learn the playbook and he challenged him. Jonathan ended up on the ground.
Back home, Jordan re-enters the Fortress where he had to be tested on his abilities. Jor-El revealed to Clark the results saying Jordan will never be like him, like Superman, and that he will never be able to unleash his powers 100%. Jordan overheard it and became upset, heading to their house enraged. Jonathan was also infuriated as the entire football team is after him because he kissed Sarah. Lois immediately put out the fire by saying they'll be going to the barbeque of the Cushings.
While in the barbeque, Sam calls Clark for help as Captain Luthor is back to wreak havoc on the town again. Sam and the team opened fire on Captain Luthor who cleared the path to leave a warning to Sam that he shouldn't be protecting Superman before he destroys the world. When Superman arrived, he swoops in Captain Luthor then realizes it was just his suit.
Arriving home, Clark and Lois talk about whether they have made a mistake moving to Smallville where Clark instantaneously says no and that they will find the answers they are looking for, together.
The episode ends with Captain Luthor told to move forward with no kryptonite and a better suit. The alternate universe's Superman appears eradicating everything around.
