Super Junior Heechul’s Latest Bubble Post Sparks Concerns

On theqoo, internet users shared screenshots of Heechul’s recent concerning posts on Bubble.

One of the messages he wrote revealed that he went to a nightclub frequently when he was younger. Per Heechul, he was not forbidden from entering the club as the place even played Mr. Simple, one of Super Junior’s hit songs.

He then shared a photo of him in front of the nightclub, saying he became an idol who promotes the place he used to go to when he was younger.

Most of the messages also include profanities, with Heechul spelling out Korean curse words in English. Because of this, fans addressed their concerns to the company and asked it to tell Heechul not to use such words.

They wrote:

"I understand that the agency doesn't manage Heechul's (Bubble). His drinking photos or his other private life videos were taken down, but I think without this, the app would be perfect. Please tell him to stop cursing. Super Junior has a lot of international fans, and there are a lot of fans who are under the age of 14. Especially, there are elementary school students who are subscribed to him, and I feel he is teaching them bad things."

Another fan urged everyone to stop the idol from using profanity and have him reprimanded for his actions.

Heechul has not responded to the public’s outburst. But his new posts came after he found himself in the middle of hot water due to his cursing rant during a live stream.

Heechul Slammed Over Uncensored Statements Regarding Sensitive Topics

The issue started when the Old Movie singer appeared on BJ Choi’s live broadcast on AfreecaTV on Feb. 9. At that time, he spoke about several sensitive topics, including defending his former groupmate, Kangin, from his past legal troubles.

He also swore several times while discussing school violence.

On Feb. 13, he took to Instagram to offer a “non-apology apology” as he thinks it was not wrong to say bad things about school violence and certain websites.
