The reviews may not have rained down the expected praise for Suicide Squad. But if you’re waiting for the weekend to fall in line for the movies to see it, then this is a nice little pre-movie video to check out.
A duo of YouTube video creators who go by the name YouTube handle forrestfire101 has created a reenactment of the Suicide Squad TV spot.
It’s barely 45 seconds long, but it shows pretty much most of the characters. We see The Joker (and hear his laugh) amid some gunfire. There’s Deadshot looking ready to fire away.
Harley Quinn looks a little tamer and sweeter in this video. You can also get glimpses of Katana, Rick Flag, Killer Croc, and Diablo. Even the pink getaway car gets recreated in LEGO goodness.
Best of all, the helicopter chase scene also gets recreated, so that’s a nice touch. Check out the video below.
Suicide Squad is already out in theaters. It stars Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Karen Fukuhara, Ike Barinholtz, and Scott Eastwood.
