Stray Kids' Seungmin made Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha's viewing experience with a new OST.

The arrival of more K-dramas increased the demand for original theme songs. In return, K-pop groups and their members create songs for them to make the series' ambiance lovelier and more emotional.

For Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Stray Kids member Seungmin waved the group's flag as he scored the special project.

On Stone Music Entertainment's official Youtube channel, the agency dropped Seungmin's debut OST through an over four-minute video titled Here Always.

The aforesaid clip features short videos from the Korean series. The footage of the K-pop idol recording the song can also be seen in the official OST MV.

The lo-fi pop sound was first heard in the series on its September 26 episode during a key scene of Yoon Hye Jin (Shin Min Ah) and Hong Doo Sik (Kim Seon Ho). Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha viewers heard it again when Hye Jin confessed her feelings to Doo Shik, leading to their first romantic kiss.

The video has already reached nearly half a million views, with 116,000 fans liked the OST so far.

The sweetest episode yet on September 26 led to Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha achieved its highest viewership ratings yet.

Nielsen Korea reported that the aforesaid episode garnered an average nationwide rating of 11.4 percent. It scored first place in its time slot compared to the shows on other channels. The same number became the new personal record of the show.

In addition, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha broke its previous personal viewership record among viewers ages 20 to 49. After the September 26 episode, the series saw a 6.3 percent rating from the particular age group.

The Korean series on Netflix has a total of 16 episodes and is expected to end this month. As of the writing, 97 percent of 4597 Google users approved the series.
