"Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" ratings soared higher after the Netflix' hit K-drama series released its 10th episode.

"Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" broke its own record by reaching its highest ratings yet since its debut in August 2021.

On September 26, Netflix finally made "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" episode 10 available for viewing to all its subscribers. As the story of Hong Du-shik and Yoon Hye-jin continues to unfold, more viewers tuned in and helped the series broke its record.

A report published by Nielsen Korea revealed that the series' recent episode reached an average nationwide rating of 11.4 percent. The number led the series to beat all the shows on the channel and set a new personal record.

"Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" invited more viewers in cable, satellite, and IPTV, that it also broke its previous viewership record in terms of the vital demographic viewers. Previously, the series had a nationwide average of 6.3 percent from viewers ages 20 to 49.

At that time, it still scored first place in its time slot.

The new milestone came after it garnered the first double-digit nationwide ratings of 10.27 on September 12.

Hye-jin and Du-sik's first kiss on "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" episode 10 beat all the shows on the same time slot among all channels, including terrestrial.

The new episode outshined KBS 2TV's "Young Lady and Gentleman," which is now in its second episode. Although Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min-a's series beat it, the drama still became the most-watched program on Sunday, with an average rating of 26.5 nationwide.

Meanwhile, JTBC's "Lost" only had a 2.1 percent rating from its latest episode.

"Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" currently enjoys 98 percent of approval from 3,305 Google users. The series is expected to gain more as the exciting rom-com series runs until its episode 16 on October 17.

The Netflix series serves as the new projects for Seon Ho and Min-a, who previously appeared on "You Drive Me Crazy" and "Tomorrow With You," respectively.
