Stranger Things Star Charlie Heaton Teases ‘Mind-Blowing’ Finale


Netflix's Stranger Things follows a group of friends in Hawkins, Indiana, as they befriend a mysterious girl named Eleven, who has been the subject of a top-secret government project and is heavily involved with the upside-down. Now that the critically-acclaimed Netflix hit is headed to its season finale, fans are wondering what would unfold with the Hawkins crew and the upside-down.

After almost 3 years of anticipation, Stranger Things Season 4 will finally premiere on Netflix this May. The series will see the return of Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Sadie Sink will reprise their roles as the core group. Alongside the core group, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, and Maya Hawke is also set to return. New additions to the cast include Joseph Quinn and Eduardo Franco. The finale will also see the series' most horrifying villain, Vecna.


In an interview with Screenrant, Stranger Things Season 4 cast opens up about the upcoming series. "It's the beginning for me. I don't know," Stranger Things newcomer, Eduardo Franco said. Schnapp, who played the key character Will in the series responded, "You brought on the beginning of the end."

While Heaton, who plays Jonathan Byers, chimed in, "Mind-blowing. But I think what's great about getting towards the end is, from a story standpoint, you're kind of unveiling a lot of the curtain now for fans. You're getting to see so much more of what's behind this. You're getting deeper into the story."

Now that we're only a few days away from the Season 4's Part 1 premiere, early reactions to Stranger Things 4 Part 1's first episode already received praises, calling it 'emotional', while also retaining its horror and jumpscare elements that the fans loved.

Heaton's comment about the series would definitely add to every fan's anticipation. With the show slowly approaching its emotional ending, it is extremely thrilling how the show will conclude the story of the Hawkins crew together with Eleven.


Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1 will premiere on May 27, 2022, and the second volume five weeks later on July 1, 2022.
