Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 Trailer Teases an Epic Fight Against Vecna

We're now just less than two weeks away before we get to see the conclusion to the fourth season of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things and fans have been looking forward to seeing the direction that the final two episodes will go. Now, as we are patiently waiting for them to drop, we finally have our first full look at what's about to come in the season's epic conclusion.

Netflix has released the official trailer for Stranger Things season 4, volume 2. Accompanied by the song "Running Up That Hill" by Kate Bush (which recently regained popularity thanks to the show), the footage started with Dr. Brenner warning Eleven that her friends are not ready for what's to come. However, she insists that she needs to help them no matter what. It is then followed by our glimpse at the different groups of characters who are all preparing for the epic fight against Vecna in various ways.

The second half of the trailer pulsates with a remix of our favorite Kate Bush song as we saw different shots of our heroes in the battle with Murray blasting a flamethrower, Robin expressing her "terrible feeling" about what's to come, a running Demogorgon, and Dr. Brenner carrying Eleven out of a room in a hurry. Afterward, we hear Vecna teasing, "Your friends have lost" before we see the final cryptic shot of Eleven in an area with red light and using her powers.

Based on this new footage that they released, it looks like the season is indeed going to include in an epic fashion as hinted by the different glimpses of the action sequences that they're teasing all throughout. It's also awesome to hear Kate Bush's song accompanying the trailer and it's obvious that Netflix is using it to their great advantage as they are aware that it has become trending again after being heavily featured in the first volume.

The final two episodes of the season are expected to have a more-supersized runtime as the eighth episode will be 1 hour and 20 minutes while the ninth episode will be 2 hours and 20 minutes (in other words, it will be longer than some of our favorite feature-length films). The Duffer Brothers also wrote and directed the two super-sized episodes.
