After three long years of anticipation, Stranger Things Season 4 is now breaking worldwide records even outside the streaming platform. Despite the tremendous streaming success, the show is foreseen to break its own records with the upcoming second volume of the show.
Volume 1 ends with Vecna placing the entire Hawkins gang's fate in jeopardy, including newcomer Eddie Munson, played by Joe Quinn. However, in spite of the reports that anticipate a heartbreaking ending, Quinn is still hopeful about the show’s finale.
In an interview with The Guardian, Stranger Things Season 4’s Joe Quinn teased that the upcoming second volume would be 'astonishing.' To add more to the growing anticipation, Quinn confirmed that there's also an awesome guitar scene.
"The thing is, they've got my family tied up somewhere and if I spoil anything, I'll never see them again," Quinn joked. "No, I can say there's a guitar scene and that the scale and ambition are astonishing. All the seeds that have been planted bear fruit and it's just carnage. You know the finale is two-and-a-half hours, right? Ending with this monster, feature-length episode is so bold."
Despite the numerous reports that claim that the upcoming second volume will be heart-wrenching for the fans, of course, there would still be more thrilling adventures for the Hawkins crew. The Netflix show has a famous pattern of killing beloved characters after introducing them in one season, with that said, fans are anxious about Eddie's fate in the upcoming volume.
Fans gave Eddie a warm welcome after his introduction on the show, and they learned to embrace the character in just a few episodes. Even though Eddie Munson could face demise in the upcoming second volume, Quinn is still evidently hopeful for his return in the season finale of the critically-acclaimed Netflix show.
Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 is available to stream on Netflix, while Volume 2 will premiere on July 1.
