Stranger Things Season 4 Set Photo Possibly Confirms Hopper Is Alive

It looks like people are really looking for clues about Jim Hopper's fate in Stranger Things Season 4. A new set photo from the Netflix series may have confirmed that David Harbour's character is alive and well and returning to Hawkins next year.

The picture was leaked on Reddit and it features the show's new set in Rome, Georgia. Although the image doesn't show any of the cast, it does feature something that's connected to Hopper and it could confirm that he's still alive. You can find the photo here.

So is that Hopper's truck parked out in Hawkins? It's pretty obvious that it is but we can't be so sure that it means he's still alive. Some believe that it could be part of a flashback sequence to the good old times when Hopper's only concern was making sure Eleven is safe. On the other hand, it could also mean that someone found Hopper's truck and it now belongs to somebody else.

Of course, we can't be sure that Hopper is OK until we get an actual photo of Harbour walking around on the set. However, there's a possibility that production is keeping the Hellboy actor's appearances on a minimum to avoid any spoilers. For now, we would recommend taking this with a grain of salt.

Harbour himself has previously teased on the possibility that he will return in Stranger Things Season 4. During his monologue on Saturday Night Live, Harbour said that he couldn't say anything about the fourth season but insisted that people should keep watching his show. Now, why would he still call it "his show" if he wasn't in it? You be the judge.

Stranger Things Season 4 has not yet been given a release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
