Stranger Things Star David Harbour Teases Hopper's Fate In Season 4

One of the biggest mysteries of Stranger Things Season 3 is undoubtedly the fate of Jim Hopper, who seemingly sacrificed himself to save the entire town of Hawkins. So does David Harbour know what happened to his character at the end of the Netflix series? The Black Widow star may have hinted at what will happen to Hopper in the fourth season.

Harbour recently hosted Saturday Night Live where he started off his monologue with a tour around the studio, which now has a portal to the Upside Down. Harbour immediately enters the portal and comes across Not-Barb and Pete Davidson, who seems to be happy to be in the Upside Down. "Hey, didn't you die in the last season?" Davidson asks and Harbour immediately responds with a non-answer, telling viewers to watch the next season.

Wait, so is Hopper still alive? Although Harbour thought he was being smart by not answering the question, some pointed out that the mere fact he still refers to Stranger Things as "my show" pretty much confirms that he's still part of the main cast. Of course, we'll have to wait until Season 4 to find out for sure but we're betting that Hopper is still alive (but probably not well).

Although we're still holding on to hope that Hopper will be back in Stranger Things Season 4, fans are already looking forward to seeing Harbour in his upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. Black Widow has just wrapped filming which means we could be getting the first trailer for the movie before the end of the year.

Stranger Things Season 4 has not yet been given an official release date. Black Widow is scheduled for release on May 1, 2020.
