Stranger Things Season 2 Puts the Pressure on David Harbour

Even with over half a year of production, filming, and preparations, a lot of eyes are trained Halloween. That's because they're expecting to get a treat from the Duffer brothers' next installment of Stranger Things.

And the immense pressure seems very, very palpable for both the cast and crew. The most recent member of the production to express this pressure is David Harbour, who portrays the role of police chief Jim Hopper in Stranger Things.

In an interview with TV Guide at the Writers Guild Awards, Harbour shared the one reason why everyone is on edge:

"We're completely terrified. We want it to be even better than Season 1."

Of course, this is every actor's dream, particularly in a sleeper series that the world is now watching over every development. But that doesn't mean that the pressure is taking the fun and experience of shooting the show.

"I got the script for the first episode of Season 2 and within the first five minutes, I was on my feet going like, ‘Yes! Yes!.' If we do our jobs, I feel like we have a really exciting season ahead of us."

This must mean that his character will follow through on the promise that his story will be very different from what unfolded in season 1.

Stranger Things will arrive on Netflix on Hallow's Eve, Oct. 31. Looks like there won't be a lot of trick or treating on that night.
