Star Wars/Game of Thrones Mash-up Shows a Battle of the Bastards Light Show

George R.R. Martin’s epic novel series is medieval fantasy at its finest. And HBO’s Game of Thrones is an adaptation that’s just as epic.

So when you put a lightsaber on what should be the biggest battle we’ve seen so far, confusion and the laughs ensue. One YouTuber LA had re-enacted a scene in the Battle of the Bastards, where Jon Snow slashes and hacks enemies from Ramsay Bolton’s army with a lightsaber.

I guess you can call it a somewhat insane advantage for the King of the North. But when even arrows fail to hit you when everyone around you falls, perhaps being Jon Snow is all the advantage you need.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that fans reimagined the lightsabers in the world of Game of Thrones. Last year, one EricThePooh has reimagined the Tower of Joy battle, where the young Ned was off to rescue his sister. Here, we see everyone wielding lightsabers—with one soldier even wielding two in one go. It’s a blazing fight, to say the least, and shows that the Starks are really fit to wield lightsabers on the battlefield.

Here’s to waiting for that next epic battle scene—and recreated Star Wars mash-up—when Game of Thrones returns this summer.
