Star Wars The Last Jedi: Better Look At Snoke’s Praetorian Guards

We posted earlier about a first look at Snoke's special guards in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but a new image suggests that these "Praetorian" guards may not actually wear the same uniform. Check out this leaked promo image from TheForce.net:

It seems that the "Knights" influence is going to be a bit more literal as that armor seems to be ripped straight out of the medieval times. I'm just curious if these special guards are still members of the Knights of Ren or if they are more connected to the First Order.

Speaking of the First Order, you can also see one of the more specialized troopers behind Captain Phasma with the stripe on his head. Stemming from the sudden popularity of FN-2199 a.k.a. TR-8R, this trooper is said to be more adept in hand-to-hand combat, and he also wields an upgraded version of the riot control baton. It's possible that this special trooper will be clashing with Finn, but it's likely he'll be fighting Rey since she's the one with a lightsaber this time.

A lot of mystery is still surrounding Supreme Leader Snoke, and it's been said that this movie will still leave us some questions about him for Episode IX. Other than the fact that he's the leader of the First Order, we just know that he'll be human-sized thanks to some leaked images of some Lego sets. Other than that, he's a total mystery.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out Dec. 15.
