Star Wars:The Last Jedi Leaked Images Reveal Red Pauldron Stormtrooper Officer

Though Lucasfilm tries its very best to keep spoilers from its latest Star Wars film installments making its way online, leaks still manage to trickle around the internet. The newest set of leaks for Lucasfilm's highly anticipated sequel trilogy installment, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, give fans a closer look at the different members of the First Order.

Confirmed by Star Wars News Net after first emerging on the Facebook page of Templo Jedi Aztlan, Star Wars followers get to see a new set of images featuring the Praetorian Guards of Supreme Leader Snoke, the First Order ‘s upgraded AT-ATs called "Gorilla Walkers" and what seems to be a new type of stormtrooper.

While word about the Preatorian Guards and the Gorilla Walkers have circulated online for quite some time now, it's great to see a clearer picture of the First Order's heavy duty AT-AT. With a central cannon placed right above the cockpit and front legs pointed backward to imitate the front limbs of a gorilla, it seems like the Resistance won't be able to topple this giants as easily as the regular AT-AT.

The image of the "Red Pauldron" First Order Stormtrooper Officer is also very exciting – carrying an axe-like weapon which could be similar to the one used by FN-2199 otherwise known as the infamous baton-wielding "TR8R" from The Force Awakens, it's uncertain how high up the rank this new type of First Order Stormtrooper is.

Featuring Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Peter Mayhew, Andy Serkis, Anthony Daniels, Lupita Nyong'o, Benicio Del Toro, Kelly Marie Tran, and Laura Dern, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to premiere on December 15, 2017.
