An animated series in the slate of Lucasfilm on Disney+ along with titles of Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Rangers of the New Republic, Rogue Squadron, and an unnamed Taika Waititi film, Star Wars: The Bad Batch is both a sequel to Star Wars: The Clone Wars and a spin-off where a group of five elite clone troopers, Sergeant Hunter, Wrecker, Echo, Tech, and Crosshair, with genetic mutations, take on various mercenary missions by the end of the Clone War.

What happened in Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 5?
In Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 5, Rampage, the Bad Batch tries to figure out who hired Fennec Shand to kidnap Omega and they proceed to Ord Mantell where a Jedi Informant, Cid, is known by Echo. They hope to know who the bounty hunter Shand is working for. However, their help is not one without an exchange. It was agreed that Muchi, a child, was kidnapped and if the Bad Batch helps her in freeing the child from the slavers, Cid would have a reward from Jabba the Hut.
The Bad Batch takes the deal and got Muchi from young rancor. As they gave the child to Cid, Muchi was turned over to Bib Fortuna, the right-hand man of Jabba the Hut, who then rewarded Cid. Cid offered to give some of the amounts to Hunter but was not able to ascertain who really hired Shand, instead, she offered to lend the team a hand for some mercenary work they may need in the future.
