Darth Vader may have settled all his business going into the next arc, but writer Greg Pak claims the Sith Lord doesn't know what's coming. He's about to take on a journey and face a terrible punishment from Emperor Palpatine himself and comes across a Sith assassin in the process.
Marvel's November solicitation (via Games Radar) gives us a glimpse of what's to come in the seventh issue of the Darth Vader comic series. Vader will be left "battered and broken" following his punishment for rebellion. The Sith Lord has vengeance on his mind but as he "drags" himself across Mustafar, he'll face a mysterious Sith assassin with a great secret. The reason Vader's being pursued is still a mystery but this character certainly raises some eyebrows. You can check out the full solicitation below!

It's worth noting that the solicit says Darth Vader #7 will have an element from Episode IV. However, Pak revealed at the Comic-Con@Home event that the next arc will be connected to Episode IX instead, so it could just be a typo.
As mentioned, the Sith assassin's identity is yet to be revealed. However, given the connection it will have to The Rise of Skywalker, it is speculated to be Ochi of Beeston, the Sith Eternal member destined to kill Rey's parents.
The comic series gets more intriguing in every issue and we can't wait to see what journey lies for Vader in this one!
Darth Vader #7 will be available this November.
