Announced during the celebration of the franchise this year is a series of six shorts with Star Wars: The Tales of the Jedi and a new poster has been dropped by the upcoming show on Disney Plus teasing the origins of Ahsoka and Count Dooku with familiar character surrounding them.

In a new post from the official Star Wars Twitter account, a new poster has been unveiled for Star Wars: The Tales of the Jedi with Ahsoka and Count Dooku in the center of the photo surrounded by familiar faces such as Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Anakin Skywalker among others.

The post reads, "Two stories of fate. One destiny." It points to the stories of young Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku from when he was still a Jedi. The poster also confirms that there will be six original shorts for Star Wars: The Tales of the Jedi which will be released on October 26 on Disney Plus.

Star Wars: The Tales of the Jedi will be exploring different Jedi characters in the Star Wars franchise from the era of the prequel trilogy and will be an animated series under Lucasfilm Animation. It is created by Dave Filoni and Charles Murray.

Liam Neeson will be back to voice Qui-Gon Jinn and his young version will be voiced by Micheál Richardson. The voice cast will include Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Janina Gavankar as Pav-Ti or the mother of Ahsoka, and Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker.

Other characters appearing in Star Wars: The Tales of the Jedi will be familiar ones such as Mace Windu, Bail Organa, Count Dooku, Ponda Baba, and Yaddle.

The first short of Star Wars: The Tales of the Jedi will be having the title of "Life and Death" which will feature the birth of Ahsoka Tano and her very first hunting trip with Pav-ti, her mother.

Star Wars: The Tales of the Jedi will be arriving on Disney Plus on October 26, 2022.
