Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Reveals First Look at Jude Law's Character

A few months ago, Lucasfilm officially announced that they are working on Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, an upcoming Star Wars series revolving around younger characters set in the New Republic era. Jude Law was also tapped to star in the series. Soon after the announcement, filming for the series commenced and now we finally have our first look at Law's character.

According to ComicBook.com, during their recent D23 presentation, Lucasfilm revealed to the audience the first-look image of Law's character in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. While they didn't give out any specific details on the character, he can be seen sporting a leather jacket and rugged ascot with a group of younger characters behind him.

The day before the Lucasfilm presentation, Law spoke with Variety where he shared his excitement about joining the Star Wars franchise and working on the upcoming series.

"It was such an important part of growing up, the impact of that film and that world. The way it penetrated and exploded my imagination," the Oscar-nominated actor said. "There are one or two more times every day where I’m walking on set and it hits me like a child. I get awestruck by certain characters that are around me, that I can’t say."

Spider-Man: No Way Home director Jon Watts and Christopher Ford co-created the series. Filming reportedly began earlier this summer in Los Angeles and is set to wrap soon. Besides Law, newcomers Kyriana Kratter and Ravi Cabot-Conyers are also starring in the series. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni also serve as executive producers.
