Star Wars: The Last Jedi was filled with a lot of mind-blowing scenes, and one of them was the fight between Rey, Kylo Ren, and Snoke's Praetorian guards. Actor Karanja Yorke shares this cool BTS photo of the guards behind the scenes as they wait to shoot their epic duel.

Yorke himself isn't in the photo, but it's said that he's the guard that Kylo kills with the Skywalker lightsaber. I would have loved to see more of these guys behind the scenes. Though they weren't wielding any lightsabers, they still made for one hell of a visual treat. That's a lot considering that they looked like the chess pieces that come to life in Harry Potter.
With guards all decimated in The Last Jedi, I wouldn't expect them to make a return in Episode IX. This time around, I'm expecting Kylo to surround himself with the Knights of Ren. They were teased way back in The Force Awakens, but had no room to be added in The Last Jedi. Hopefully Abrams gives us a fascinating answer to where they were in the last film.
Star Wars Episode IX is slated for a release on Dec. 20, 2019.
