Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Photo Shows How Massive The Park Will Be

Disney wasn't lying when it said that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge was going to be the single largest land expansion in Disneyland's history.

A new photo of the Star Wars theme park has managed to make its way online, and Star Wars fans get to take a look at just how massive Galaxy's Edge can be. Disneyland has recently been posting sneak peeks to members of the press, and the company just recently held a cast member event in a part of Galaxy's Edge space.

One of the few official photos of the new Star Wars theme park has been recently released, and in it fans get to see more than 1400 individuals surrounding the Millennium Falcon.

1400 might seem like a massive number, but we shouldn't forget that there's a lot more space in Galaxy's Edge that isn't shown in the image. According to Disneyland, the themepark is estimate to have a capacity of about 15,000 people – though it's likely that the company is going to keep the limit to about 10,000 guests a day during the soft opening period.

The new theme park is going to host a number of attractions and stalls. There are two main attractions in Galaxy's Edge, however, only one will be available during the park's opening day: Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run. The other attraction, Rise of the Resistance, will be made available on a later date.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens on August 29 at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and then on May 31 at Disneyland Resort in California.
