As the opening of the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser nears, videos have surfaced on YouTube and other social media platforms for the promotion of the new attraction at one of the most famous theme parks in the world. However, a certain one recently got deleted by Disney after it received negative feedback of the hotel looking cheap and the clip being too scripted.
After Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm in 2012, it has been successful with the yearly release of Star Wars films and The Mandalorian series on Disney Plus really made it big. Because of this, Disney started with the construction of a Star Wars-themed hotel which, over the years, had been built and is now finally close to opening.
Backlash has been thrown at Disney after it released the rated of the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort which will be opening next year in March. A two-day experience is extremely pricey costing $4.809 for two people, and $5,999 for four. More than that, the negative feedback didn’t stop as Disney released a promotional video of the actual hotel and fans didn’t take it well.
In the deleted video was The Goldberg’s actor Sean Giambrone along with Walt Disney Imagineer Ann Morrow Johnson and the main star of the promotional clip is the actual Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Hotel. In a report from Inside The Magic, the video has already been wiped off of social media.

However, Disney hasn’t released a statement yet as to why exactly the video was deleted and without any explanation. Many are leaning into the reason that it was taken down after various comments on the hotel looking cheap, the actors looking really scripted, that the ones that advertised are not Star Wars stars, and the whole clip being poorly executed.
Many are disappointed with how the hotel looks like considering that the price of a stay is really expensive. Despite all those, tickets for the opening day of the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Hotel four months prior the said date.
Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Hotel opens on March 1, 2022.
