“Our little boy has been born into this massive Star Wars family,” McGregor said. “He will either embrace it or really go the other way. I don’t know. Maybe he’ll be a Trekkie!”

There were previous reports confirming that Mary Elizabeth Winstead has been cast in Ahsoka in an undisclosed role. However, Lucasfilm hasn't made an official announcement about her casting. Luckily, it looks like Ewan McGregor has confirmed it all for fans.

Ahsoka will follow Rosario Dawson's character as she continues on her mission to find Grand Admiral Thrawn in an effort to locate her missing friend Ezra Bridger. The series is also expected to bring back Star Wars Rebels characters and give them their live-action debuts later next year.
