Star Wars: Episode IX might be more than a year away from its release date, but now that the sequel trilogy instalment is in the middle of production, new leaks seem to find their way online.

One of the most recent leaks reportedly reveals a scene where Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) meets both Darth Vader and Anakin – a scene that if true, would make the Star Wars fanbase go wild.

According to a report by Express, a new concept art piece of Episode IX has just made its way across the internet, and the scene has "(It shows) Kylo Ren standing in what appears to be a new throne room for himself. In front of him is a window, a wide window looking out to space. In the window is a reflection of what seems to be a hybrid Force ghost of Anakin's face - half of which is Anakin, half of which is Vader."

The thought of a hybrid Force ghost definitely is exiting. Not only does it add to the lore of Lucasfilm's galaxy far, far away, but it also reflects the conflict within Kylo Ren.

Sure Ben Solo might have seemingly made his choice to turn to the Dark Side and become the Supreme Leader of the First Order during the very end of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but we all know that there's still a lot of conflict remaining within Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Leia's (the late Carrie Fisher) estranged son.

Though there's no telling at this point in time, there are still many who hope to see Kylo Ren return to the light at the very end of Episode IX. Let's just wait and see what happens.

Star Wars: Episode IX comes blasting into cinemas on December 20, 2019.
