Star Wars Episode IX Set Images FInd the Millennium Falcon in a Forest

Production is currently underway for Star Wars Episode IX, and some new set photos find the Millennium Falcon parked in a dark forest.

As of now, we still have no idea what kind of story to expect from the film, but it is suspected that there's going to be a huge time jump considering that John Boyega (Finn) had to grow his hair out for the film. Personally I was hoping we got a different environment for the movie since we already got the forest planet Takodana in The Force Awakens; but this one could be something totally different.

Though a lot of people may hate on The Last Jedi, I think Rian Johnson did something incredible in the sense that he was able to subvert all expectations. Now J.J. Abrams is free to bring the story wherever he pleases with Episode IX, and complain all you want, but I want to walk into a movie where I can't predict what's going to happen.

Besides the regular cast members of the sequel trilogy, Episode IX promises to bring an old Lando Calrissian back into the fray. Mark Hamill is also set to return as Luke Skywalker, and it's said that they will be using unused footage of Carrie Fisher for the role of Leia Organa.

Hopefully Abrams gives her a proper sendoff.

Star Wars Episode IX is set for a release on Dec. 20, 2019.
