Star Wars: The Old Republic Gets New Trailer for Story DLC

If you've been wanting to indulge in the Dark Side, then the newest trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic is something of a must-watch.

With its latest expansion, Knights of the Eternal Throne, the trailer, aptly titled Betrayed, shows just how much The Force can corrupt someone.

The trailer is over six minutes long, and it features an almost scary progression from an interest in The Force to an almost destructive approach to it. what starts out as an innocent interest and a bit lack of talent goes a long way into growing into the dark side. I have to say, that training may have been the most intense one there is, if that ending is everything to go by.

BioWare also hinted that the stakes are high this time around as players will be facing the most powerful villains in the form of Emperor Valkorion and Empress Vaylin to get control of the Eternal Throne.

"Ruling the galaxy offers expanded power and influence through the new Galactic Command system. Alone or with friends, players can ignite light and dark side battles, face all-new erupting confrontations known as Uprisings, and unlock powerful rewards. In the latest expansion, players will be able to customize their combat encounters with three challenge levels, giving everyone the option to play their way."

Star Wars: The Old Republic's Knights of the Eternal Throne expansion will be released on Dec. 2. There's an option to go premium to enjoy early access starting Nov 29.
