Star Wars Battlefront 2 Will Expand the Game by ‘A Lot’

When EA and DICE announced Star Wars Battlefront, fans had a lot of expectations for the game. and while it did deliver on some of the aspects, such as the characters and the battles, there are a number of things missing.

For the sequel, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen shared during the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference (via GameSpot) that they plan on making the game "dramatically larger" than the original.

This will be done by introducing a lot of new characters, with Jorgensen pretty much confirming that the newer Star Wars movie will be in the mix.

"The Star Wars universe is just unbelievable to build games in because it's so vast."

More importantly, the awaited sequel will finally feature a single-player campaign care of Motive Studios. That's basically the biggest issue for the original, as some gamers felt restricted with the lack of a narrative offline campaign for the title.

Just recently, it was reported that Star Wars Battlefront 2 may have its trailer in the drawing board already. This was thanks to a teaser for a mocap filming supposedly related to the force.

Hopefully, the developer will be able to give more concrete progress with the game.
