If you've seen the first three episodes of The Mandalorian, there's a huge chance that you're already planning to get a Baby Yoda plushie. Luckily, a new report has just confirmed that Baby Yoda merchandise will be released just in time for the holidays.
The good news comes from CNBC, which cites a source who is familiar with the company's plans. According to the source, apparel and accessories featuring Baby Yoda will available through Amazon, Zazzle, Target, Kohl's, Macy's, Hot Topic and Box Lunch "as early as Friday (November 22)."
Not really interested in a Baby Yoda T-shirt? You'll have to wait a little longer for toys and plushies. The presales for these items should be available within the next few weeks although it is still unclear when the products will be shipped. Nevertheless, it is good to know that Disney is already preparing for the huge demand for Baby Yoda toys.
Baby Yoda, or The Child, was notably left out of promotional merch for The Mandalorian. This was something that show creator Jon Favreau opted for in an effort to keep the character's appearance a huge surprise for fans. After all, Favreau pointed out that the toys are usually the quickest way to leak certain surprises in films and TV shows. Luckily, the decision paid off as people were kept in the dark about Baby Yoda's existence until the series premiered last week.
