We're only two episodes in on Spy x Family and the opening sequence was just revealed last week. However, it looks like fans are already loving the opening theme. The video already had over one million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours and people have not slowed down!
The official Spy x Family anime Twitter account shared the good news, confirming that the video has reached 1 million views in less than a day it was released. The post also asked its followers to continue supporting the video and the anime in its upcoming episodes in the next few weeks.
It's no surprise that people are loving the Spy x Family opening sequence. The animation is bright and colorful and the theme certainly sets the pace for the episode it precedes. Needless to say, Mixed Nuts is going to be a huge hit for Official HIGE DANdism this year.
Spy x Family Episode 2 finally introduced Yor Briar, the future wife and mother of Loid and Anya Forger. Viewers got to see two sides of Yor as an employee of the Berlint City Hall and as Thorn Princess, the dangerous assassin who works for the Garden. Perhaps the best thing about the episode was that it animated the iconic proposal scene where Loid used the pull ring from a grenade to ask Yor to be his wife.
But what can we expect now that Yor has accepted Loid as her husband? It is finally time to get ready for the formal interview at Eden Academy as part of the entrance exam for Anya.
Spy x Family Episode 3 is titled Prepare for the Interview ("Juken Taisaku o Seyo") and is based on the manga's third chapter Mission 3. The episode will premiere on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 23:00 PM JST.
