Insomniac Games have promised players that Spider-Man PS4 will be the ultimate Spider-Man experience. The developers not only promised awesome times as Spidey but also his alter-ego Peter Parker, who players will also be controlling throughout the game. Rather than having players go through his high school years, they have aged Peter up considerably and is now a post-college graduate.

Since the story revolves around Peter's regular life as much as his superhero career, players will experience all of his post-grad woes. Creative director Bryan Intihar has confirmed the various problems Peter will be facing to Game Informer. They haven't discussed where he would be working since that is already considered a spoiler, so that should be something to look forward to.

"He's on the verge of becoming an adult, and he's dealing with a lot of the things people at that age dealing with – student loans, trying to start a career, struggling with money – any number of things."

Insomniac writer Jon Paquette also chimed in, discussing the passion most 20-something-year-olds have after they graduate from college. He humorously brought up how Peter is still young in the game and how he doesn't have the cynicism of a 40-year old.

"One of the talks we had was about what it was like to be in your early twenties, just out of college, you thought you could take on the world, you had all this passion and energy for changing the world, and you didn't have the cynicism that I have now in my forties."

Peter Parker has always been the world's most relatable superhero, so having him go through student loans and rental problems fit the character well. He went through similar problems in the comics, so fans of the hero should be delighted with these. Hopefully, the Peter Parker side quests are fun in their own way and don't feel dull compared to the Spider-Man section.

Spider-Man PS4 comes out on September 7.
