There have been rumors about a massive crossover between Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Tom Hardy's Venom but Spider-Man: No Way Home pretty much confirmed that Earth-616 will have its own version of the symbiote-bonded villain. In the mid-credits scene of the film, Hardy's version of the beloved Marvel anti-hero accidentally left a piece of the symbiote as he was getting transported back to his universe following the epic final fight between the "Spider-Men" and the multiversal baddies.

Fans have been dying to see Holland's version of the character don the iconic black Spider-Man suit and while we still don't know where Peter Parker's journey takes him after No Way Home, the MCU has clearly planted the seeds for the Venom saga in future Spidey films.

Interestingly, concept artist Thomas du Crest, who worked on both Spider-Man: No Way Home and Venom: Let There Be Carnage recently took to social media to unveil his epic artwork depicting Tom Holland as the symbiote-corrupted version of Spider-Man. Is this a confirmation that No Way Home almost gave us the black-suited web-slinger? Check it out here:

With rumors of Marvel and Sony creating a brand new trilogy for our favorite wall-crawler, there's no doubt that the MCU will dive into Spidey's venom saga in the coming films. The real question is, will Earth-616 actually have its own Eddie Brock or will there be another character who will serve as the symbiote's host? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' fourth Spider-Man film is reportedly in development. Meanwhile, Spider-Man: No Way Home continues to shatter box office records worldwide.
