Newsen, on the other hand, claimed that Song Hye Kyo had lost around 5 kilograms since the beginning of 2019 because of marital stress. The alleged weight loss, reportedly, caused her fingers to become too thin for her wedding band. An informant stated:
"In addition to her weight loss, her face looked darker and made me worry about her health. She is usually taciturn and doesn't often talk about her inner thoughts but she recently cried while talking about the hardship related to her marriage life and it hurt my heart to see her that way."
Another source claimed that Song Joong Ki had also experienced hair loss while filming Arthdal Chronicles because of personal stress. Because of that, staff members of the said K-drama speculated that Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were already having troubles at home at the time.
