Lee Jung Jae's character received several slaps from Gong Yoo for losing numerous times before he finally got the prize. After beating Gong Yoo, Lee Jung Jae's character was invited to become one of the official participants in the Squid Game.

Aside from Gong Yoo and Lee Jung Jae, viewers praised the production for being able to bring Park Hae Soo and Lee Byung Hun together. Squid Game can be streamed on Netflix.
