To hype up the anime’s release, Solo Leveling shared a new trailer that previewed the show’s opening theme by notable composer Hiroyuki Sawano and popular K-pop group TXT.
The trailer may only be 30 seconds long, but it does feature a snippet of the new opening song. It also features new clips that show off the anime’s main cast in action.
On top of the trailer, Solo Leveling also announced three upcoming premiere events that will preview the anime’s first two episodes.
Solo Leveling World Premiere Events Happening in Japan, Korea, and the US
Solo Leveling is an anime that has plenty of fans excited. After all, this new anime by A-1 Pictures (of Kaguya-sama and Lycoris Recoil fame) is based on the incredibly popular manhwa of the same name.
This upcoming anime was revealed way back in Anime Expo 2022, which happened over a year ago. It has taken some time, but the show is finally set to air as part of the Winter 24 season.
Ahead of the show’s broadcast, it was revealed that three premiere events will take place next month. These will give lucky fans a chance to see the first two episodes ahead of everyone else.
The first of these three premieres will happen in Tokyo on December 10, 2023. Specifically, it will take place at United Cinemas Toyosu. There will also be a special talk event following the screening.
On the same day, there will be another screening that will happen in Seoul. Finally, fans in LA will also be treated to a premiere screening on December 14.
Ticket details for the Tokyo premiere are available on the official website. Meanwhile, more info about the Seoul and LA events will be shared soon.

Hiroyuki Sawano and TXT Team Up for Solo Leveling Opening
As for the new trailer, the highlight of it is no doubt the preview of the opening song titled Level. This song is a collaboration between Hiroyuki Sawano (credited as SawanoHiroyuki [nZk]) and Tomorrow X Together.
This is quite an interesting collab. After all, Sawano is a notable anime composer who created music for Attack on Titan and Kill la Kill. Meanwhile, TXT is a popular K-pop group under Big Hit Music.

Having a K-pop group perform the opening makes sense. After all, even if it’s animated by a Japanese studio, the show is based on a Korean comic.
The Solo Leveling anime will be released on Crunchyroll in January 2024. For now, there’s no word yet on a specific release date.
