Although she has remained healthy in the past years, she recently made everyone extremely worried after posting images on her social media account before deleting it.

So Young would usually post selfies and photos of her pet dog that recently died after 12 years. Some fans assumed that the singer was yet to get over the recent loss, but others continuously posted messages on their social media accounts, hoping So Young would see them.

Seeing alarming posts already traumatized the fans, as the K-pop industry lost several artists to suicide.

The Dark Side Of TV, K-Pop Industry

For the past years, several Korean celebrities have taken their lives due to severe anxiety and depression. This is the reason why So Young's fans have been trying to empathize with her following her alarming posts.

In 2005, the industry recorded one of the most notable suicide cases. The Scarlet Letter actress Lee Eun-Ji claimed her life that year at the age of 24. U;Nee, Choi Jin Sil, Jang Ja Yeon, and Daul Kim also suffered from the same effects of their mental health.

Most recently, the deaths of SHINee's Kim Jong Hyun, former f(x) member Sulli, and former KARA member Goo Hara brought the topic to the spotlight. Fans then pleaded with the agencies to take care of their artists even more so no similar case would occur again.

So Young's social media account remains inactive as of the moment. Her agency also has not released a statement yet.
