Snowpiercer Season 3 is getting more exciting as the thrill of the show intensifies after Layton and the others get stuck on a pirate train in hopes of rescuing Melanie but to no avail and Wilford remains on the Eternal Engine with Big Alice driving 1023 cars with all the passengers and he just got some leverage imprisoning an important person to the resistance: Ruth.

In Episode 2 of Snowpiercer Season 3, The Last To Go, Wilford remains on the train as the Layton and the crew continues to look for the Eternal Engine now that they are running out of supplies and with only one place left to go on the map of Melanie. A wedding between Lilah Jr. and Oz gets celebrated by the whole train as Wilford’s way of distraction.
However, while the wedding was going on, the EMP that they had planned to take Layton out when his pirate train reconnects was found by the resistance and for Lights and Pike to be able to figure out how to stop it from happening, Wilford gets an important person from the resistance: Ruth. She surrendered herself as a distraction. While Pike and Lights weren’t able to disarm the EMP, with the help of Strong Boy, they discarded it from the train.
It was not what they planned but it worked as it gave a signal to the pirate train where the Snowpiercer is. Ruth was about to have her arm cut off in their barbaric way of punishment but it didn’t happen. Layton’s pirate train paralleled and to Wilford’s surprise, Layton and the team were there, whole and alive. He instructed guards to go to their places and the war begins, eight people against the 1023 cars long.

In Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 3, The First Blow, they had a chase at the abandoned trail track where it was a maze and one wrong move could topple any plan. Ruth remains in prison and Pike made his way in to inform her of what is happening. She instructed Pike to send a signal to Layton, fireworks, which worked with Audrey as a distraction. Layton was able to take the train back from Wilford.
Ruth’s imprisonment was such a big character improvement. From being a loyal steward of Wilford to being the head of the resistance, she managed to brew chaos from within, true to the cause of Layton. It was a pure act of bravery that even with the threat of losing a limb, she knows that the battle is bigger than her and her sacrifices and that in the end, it would pay off.
Snowpiercer Season 3 Episodes 2 and 3 are now streaming on the TNT app and website. It will be released along with all the episodes on Netflix after the finale airs on television.
