Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 6 Ending Explained

Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 6, Born to Bleed, circled around the investigation of who started the fire and the reason behind it. Bess gets deep into the investigation pointing it to one of the notes of Lights which they later found to be in the possession of Pike, pointing fingers at him with the determination that he is the one responsible for the fire and the explosion.

With Pike learning more of the lies that Layton and the others are selling to the people, he got more determined to kill Layton and take the leadership away from him. After all, he wants Ruth to lead the people. With Layton quire disappointed as to why Pike would ever lay a finger on him, Josie and Miles suggested settling the matter in the tradition of the tail, “Old Ivan’s Way.”

As both of them got into the discussion, Pike reveals the reasons why he wanted Layton dead, even adding to the insult that Layton tried to bribe him with luxuries. Pike doesn’t want to talk, he preferred a fight and when it happened, the knife fight between the two got intense. Pike know that Layton’s head was a weak spot after the explosion so he continued to hit him there.

However, in the end, it was Layton who won after he stabbed Pike, ultimately killing him. If with his death comes with him the secret of the lies he confirmed from Asha, that might have just bought Layton some time to go to New Eden and see for themselves the real scenario. However, if Pike managed to get some people on his side, this could lead to another fiasco within the train.

The promo for the next episodes shows Layton receiving intensive care, possibly from a fight, and he has to be intubated. There were also gunfights between familiar faces. Does this mean that there is another war between the passengers? If so, what could the reason be? Did they reach New Eden and got everyone disappointed?

Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 6 is now streaming on the TNT app and website.
