Snowpiercer Season 3 has taken everyone into a ride that could make-it-or-break-it for the entirety of what is left of the human race and as the Eternal Engine continues to preserve life, the stakes are immensely high but an extremely important character is finally back after her absence on most of the run: Melanie, and an exclusive clip confirms that she is leading the train once again.
In an exclusive clip released by TNT for the finale of Snowpiercer Season 3, Andre Layton as he addresses the Tail and Third Class on Big Alice to come clean about the lie that they fabricated about New Eden. Layton acknowledged his mistake and reasoned that he used it using dirty politics in hopes of bringing the trail together. He said that while there is, indeed, a possibility, it is not a hundred percent sure whether life could really exist there.
However, he also called on them to acknowledge the fact that Snowpiercer is starting to run out of supplies and he revealed that Melanie is back in charge of the train, something that they fought for years, only to come back to square one. It seems like another war is brooding on the train as the citizens are not welcoming the thought of having Melanie as their leader the second time around.
In Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 9, A Beacon For Us All, a dangerous retrieval operation was taken by the train in hopes of finding the Eternal Engineer, Melanie Cavill, alive somewhere in France after Wilford revealed that they picked up some signals weeks ago from the said place and his hunch was that Melanie survived being left alone in the outside world for months because only she could have sent that.

In fate’s twisted world, Melanie was found alive and she used suspension drugs to keep it that way. After she recovered, she learned about the lie that Layton made to the citizens and she took action on it by blatantly dismissing the thought and revealing it to everyone.
Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 10, The Original Sinners, will serve as the finale for this run of the show and there is more to come in the story given that the show has been renewed for a fourth season. It will be released on March 28, 2022 at 9 PM EST via TNT. For those living in UK and Ireland, the episode will be available the following day at 8 AM GMT.
