Shooting Stars episode 9 unveils an unusual dating rumor after Oh Han Byul and Gong Tae Sung decide to start dating.
Shooting Stars is a 2022 tvN drama series exploring the romantic love story between the top star Gong Tae Sung and PR team leader Oh Han Byul. Played by Kim Young Dae and Lee Sung Kyung, respectively, they share a love-and-hate relationship before developing romantic feelings toward each other while working in the entertainment industry.
The K-drama also depicts the realistic set-up of people who work for celebrities behind the scenes in the world of celebrities in South Korea.

Shooting Stars Episode 8 Recap
The previous episode shows Oh Han Byul feeling torn after Gong Tae Sung and Do Soo Hyeok confessed their feelings to her.
It also reveals why and how Gong Tae Sung developed hatred and loathing toward Eun Si Woo – who turns out to be his mother – after she abandoned him and his late father. Amid all the bad memories he has with his mother, he also dreams of Oh Han Byul and how they met for the first time.
The World of Stars actors and actresses also share kissing scenes for the first time.
Yuna and Yoon Jae Hyun initially do not want to kiss each other but get moved by the scene. Meanwhile, Baek Da Hye also prepares before her kissing scene with Gong Tae Sung. Oh Han Byul goes to the series’ set and watches the scene herself.
When he bumps into her, he assures her that the kissing scene is just for work. But when he tries to follow her, Gong Tae Sung sees his ex-girlfriend, Yeo Ha Jin.
Do Soo Hyeok, meanwhile, asks Oh Han Byul to have dinner with him. The rivalry between Do Soo Hyeok and Gong Tae Sung intensifies as the legal advisor lets him know about the dinner he will have with Oh Han Byul.
The same Shooting Stars episode divulges Kwon Myung Hee intentionally putting a lot of salt on Gong Tae Sung’s food. It is yet to tell her backstory and the reason why she wants to cause harm to the actor.
In the latter part of the drama, Gong Tae Sung keeps on texting Oh Han Byul that he’ll be waiting for her. After thinking about it, she seemingly gets out of her unit and goes to the actor.
Shooting Stars episode 8 epilogue shows Gong Tae Sung and Baek Da Hye doing their kissing scene. Meanwhile, Kang Yu Sung notices Oh Han Byul feeling jealous.

Shooting Stars Episode 9
In the last episode, Gong Tae Sung texted Oh Han Byul that he would be waiting for her in the park. However, he seemingly left as the PR team leader did not find him anywhere.
Now, the actor thinks Oh Han Byul did not come to see him. The PR team leader, meanwhile, feels down since Gong Tae Sung did not wait for her. It turns out that international fans spotted him in public, causing him to miss her. She instead called Kang Yoo Sung to pick him up.
Kang Si Deok/Kang Yu Sung starts to have feelings toward Park Ho Young. But she already set her eyes on Kang Yoo Sung.
His roommate and colleague, Yoon Jae Hyun, also falls with Jin Yoo Na after their kissing scene. They begin to feel awkward toward each other – something their managers notice.
During their break, they agree to start dating and kiss each other, but they immediately pretend to fight again in front of their managers.

Oh Han Byul and Do Soo Hyeok finally have their dinner date. Due to the awkward atmosphere, the legal advisor says she can think of it as a work meeting instead. He tells her meaningful words which begin to bother her and make her think that she is indeed into Gong Tae Sung.
After the dinner, she talks to Jo Kkipeum and opens up about the first love she never talked about to anyone. She reveals all the hardships she went through – from suffering during college days when rumors about them having a relationship surfaced to writing Gong Tae Sung’s romance with Yeo Ha Jin.
In the end, she still cannot imagine how she fell in love with a celebrity. She also discloses to Jo Kkipeum that he confessed to her.
Gong Tae Sung sends her movie ticket for Our Real Romance and buys all the seats so he can be with her. But Oh Han Byul says she is too scared to be hurt again.
The actor waits for her, but she fails to see him at the cinema. When he arrives home, Oh Han Byul comes to his unit and asks him how much he likes her. While explaining how much he likes her, she kisses him instead as a response and leaves the actor and herself in shock.
After holding back for a long time, Gong Tae Sung and Oh Han Byul share a sweet kiss. However, Byeon Jung Yeol suddenly rings the doorbell and makes the duo panic.
From there, they begin dating – officially – but they have to be away from each other for a week due to The World of Stars filming.
Oh Han Byul finally tells Do Soo Hyeok her answer, and the legal advisor goes back to his old self again.
Shooting Stars episode 9 also explores the awkward but blooming relationship between Gong Tae Sung and Oh Han Byul. After the PR team leader tells him through the phone that she turned Do Soo Hyeok down, Gong Tae Sung assures her that he never dated Yeo Ha Jin and he only likes her.
Because he misses her already, he goes to her house and gives her the present he was supposed to give her that night.
During the Starforce Entertainment meeting, Oh Han Byul reads a chat message about Gong Tae Sung’s dating rumors. However, the hilarious reports are about Gong Tae Sung and Do Soo Hyeok’s relationship instead.
Meanwhile, Choi Ji Hoon finds out that Eun Si Woo is back in Korea again and starts to worry about Gong Tae Sung. He remembers how he asked him to make him more famous than his mother.
Eun Si Woo barges inside Gong Tae Sung’s unit, making Kang Yoo Sung drive to the complex. Kwon Myung Hee, the actor’s helper, arrives and finds the mother and son inside the apartment.
The actress remembers her and pulls her hair, but Gong Tae Sung defends his staff. An anonymous person then tries to bring down the actor by posting an article and a photo of Eun Si Woo hugging him, suggesting that he is dating the actress.
