Shooting Stars Episode 7 Recap: Gong Tae Sung Feels Threatened After Do Soo Hyeok Confesses to Oh Han Byul

Shooting Stars episode 7 sees Gong Tae Sung and Do Soo Hyeok’s love confessions to Oh Han Byul, officially presenting a love triangle in the K-drama.

Shooting Stars is a new tvN drama that tells the story of Oh Han Byul (Lee Sung Kyung), the head of an entertainment agency’s PR team, who meets her greatest nemesis, Kim Young Dae’s Gong Tae Sung. While working together at Starforce Entertainment, they start developing feelings and become more curious and interested in each other.

It also depicts the realistic set-up of people who work for celebrities behind the scenes in South Korea’s entertainment industry.

Shooting Stars Episode 6 Recap

Oh Han Byul and Gong Tae Sung notice their developing romantic feelings toward each other after answering the written questionnaire for a magazine.

The episode also highlights Gong Tae Sung looking busy with the filming of The World of Stars. Baek Da Hye starts to have more feelings for the actor. Meanwhile, Do Soo Hyuk also admits that he likes Oh Han Byul.

During a The World of Stars press conference, the interviewer asks Gong Tae Sung what his ideal woman is. He starts to give points that direct at Oh Han Byul, making the whole PR team look at her whenever the actor describes her ideal type.

Meanwhile, Eun Si Woo officially returns to South Korea, meeting Kang Yoo Sung at the airport.

Shooting Stars episode 6 shows Gong Tae Sung’s real feelings toward Oh Han Byul-- and vice versa. After watching the premiere of the actor’s new series, Gong Tae Sung asks the PR team leader what she thinks about it.

Shooting Stars Episode 7

In the new episode of Shooting Stars, the PR team staff watch the premiere of Gong Tae Sung’s drama.

When they find out that Gong Tae Sung and Oh Han Byul both took a day off, the employees and Byeon Jung Yeol assume that the two are having a great time together. However, it turns out that the top star visited Lee Yoon Woo (Luca) in the cemetery to mark his birthday after his death.

He tells him about Oh Han Byul and their discussion after they watched the premiere of The World of Stars. For what it’s worth, Gong Tae Sung followed Oh Han Byul previously after his drama’s episode aired and asked her what she thought about him.

But instead of giving a romance-related answer, the PR team leader started praising his acting,

He tells Lee Yoon Woo that he likes someone and that he wants him to hear it first. While telling the late actor how surprised he might be when he finds out who he likes, Oh Han Byul suddenly arrives to visit Luca, as well.

On the set of The World of Stars, Gong Tae Sung spends his time inside his van and stares at a picture of him with Oh Han Byul, which was taken before he jetted for Africa. After the PR team leader tries to peek inside the van and fails to see the actor, she and Kim Mi Nyeo join the Starforce Entertainment team to have a chat with them.

However, Gong Tae Sung suddenly feels jealous when Oh Han Byul starts to have fun with them and when Kang Yu Sung puts his arms around her.

He calls Byeon Jung Yeol and asks him why there are so many men around the PR team leader. He confesses that Oh Han Byul is indeed the person he is curious about, making Byeon Jung Yeol smile widely.

South Korea’s top star grabs Kang Yu Sung and tells him to put his arms around him instead.

When he gets home, Gong Tae Sung receives a package from Africa and a red envelope which he immediately grabs from his helper, Kwon Myung Hee. After leaving the unit, the house staff suddenly changes as if she is planning something against the actor.

While in his dressing room, Gong Tae Sung starts thinking of ways to confess his feelings to Oh Han Byul. He asks for Byeon Jung Yeol’s help, however, he reportedly never confessed to anyone yet.

So tries every method of confessing, but everything backfires.

Do Soo Hyeok, on the other hand, invites Oh Han Byul and the PR team for a heartwarming party. After finding out that he is not invited, Gong Tae Sung joins them and brings a welcome gift for the legal advisor.

The awkward atmosphere finally changes when Oh Han Byul arrives, and they start playing the Son Byong Hon game (Put a Finger Down). However, Do Soo Hyeok and Gong Tae Sung hilariously play the game while bragging about each other’s milestones.

Shooting Stars episode 7 also sees Do Soo Hyeok takes his chance to express his feelings to Oh Han Byul. He tells the PR team leader that he will wait for his answer following his confession.

Gong Tae Sung tells Kang Yoo Sung that he likes Oh Han Byul, but the manager reveals that he should confess as soon as possible since Do Soo Hyeok already told his feelings to the PR team leader.

After feeling anxious, he tries calling Oh Han Byul, but he finds her in front of his unit after Kang Yoo Sung asks her to bring something to him. With that, he takes his chance to tell her that he likes her.

Oh Han Byul suddenly screams and runs away, leaving a shocked actor alone. The doorbell suddenly rings, making him feel excited as he thinks it might be the PR team leader.

However, he finds Eun Si Woo instead.

The episode’s prologue shows Gong Tae Sung writing his supposed confession letter. He recalls the first time they met, which was inside a cinema during a premiere of Eun Si Woo’s movie. The actor, who cried out loud throughout the show, found the PR team leader also crying near him.

Oh Han Byul told him that she was crying out loud due to her fears that she might not be able to go to college after failing the entrance exam.

He ends his letter by saying that Oh Han Byul looked cute at that time.
