Shooting Stars episode 13 tests Gong Tae Sung as more issues continue to come out.
Shooting Stars is a 2022 tvN drama series exploring the romantic love story between the top star Gong Tae Sung and PR team leader Oh Han Byul.
Kim Young Dae and Lee Sung Kyung’s characters share a love-and-hate relationship before developing romantic feelings toward each other while working in the entertainment industry.
The K-drama also depicts the realistic set-up of people who work for celebrities behind the scenes in the world of celebrities in South Korea.

Shooting Stars Episode 12 Recap
Shooting Stars’ previous episode tackles the worsening rumors about Gong Tae Sung and Eun Si Woo’s alleged relationship. Starforce Entertainment also discovers that DS Actors’ Kang Min Kyu is the anti-fan who spread the allegation.
The director of Starforce Entertainment, Choi Ji Hoon, finds out that the actress came back to Korea as she is sick and losing her memories. She hopes to make it up to Gong Tae Sung and tell him she is sorry. A flashback notes that the actress wanted to see her son when his father died, but Choi Ji Hoon restrained her due to her scheduled awards ceremony appearance.
Meanwhile, a new issue about Gong Tae Sung having a child in Africa also emerges, making Kang Yoo Sung and Oh Han Byul think about whether they should reveal that Eun Si Woo is Gong Tae Sung’s mother.
Kang Yoo Sung goes to Gong Tae Sung, who is already broken with the thought of revealing that Eun Si Woo is his mother.
Because of the incident, their friendship suddenly falls apart.
Oh Han Byul braves herself and holds an emergency press conference with Eun Si Woo to finally put an end to the rumors. The decision, however, breaks Gong Tae Sung’s heart.
Shooting Stars Episode 13
Shooting Stars episode 13, which was released on June 3, starts with Oh Han Byul leading Eun Si Woo’s press conference in pursuit of clearing the rumors about the actress and Gong Tae Sung.
Instead of answering the questions one by one, Eun Si Woo decides to tell her life story and reveals that Korea’s top star is her child. She admits to leaving Gong Tae Sung to become an actress.
As he watches the press conference, he gets emotional but also feels betrayed because of Oh Han Byul’s decision. Although the PR team leader told him about their decision, the actor could not understand why she decided to help Eun Si Woo reveal the truth instead.

After the press conference, Oh Han Byul and Gong Tae Sung find it hard to approach each other again. Meanwhile, Do Soo Hyeok and Cho Kippeum seemingly start to have different feelings toward each other.
The filming of World of Stars resumes, but the actor still hesitates to call Oh Han Byul again.
While the PR team leader talks to Kim Mi Nyeo, she reveals that the reason why she decided to hold the press conference was due to Cho Kppeum’s update that the reporters might claim that the actor was Eun Si Woo’s illegitimate child.
If that happened, Oh Han Byul knew Gong Tae Sung would suffer more.
Byeon Jung Yeol then learns the reason from a PR team staff, eventually telling Gong Tae Sung about it. So after his filming, he visits Oh Han Byul in the Starforce Entertainment office again and asks her why she did not tell him about the reason why she did the press conference.
After holding back for a long time, the couple reconciles again. Oh Han Byul also tells him the reason why Eun Si Woo came back, and it prompts him to call Kang Yoo Sung to apologize to him.
Gong Tae Sung goes to Eun Si Woo after learning that she is sick. For the first time, the mother and son finally have the proper conversation after a long time. Fortunately, they fix their relationship before Eun Si Woo leaves the country again.
On the other hand, Kang Yoo Sung gives Park Ho Young an answer after she confesses to him.
The industry also remembers Lee Yoon Woo’s death. Oh Han Byul remembers how the late actor called her several times before committing suicide, but she failed to answer as she was sick at that time.
The PR team leader and Gong Tae Sung visit Lee Yoon Woo together and tell him stories about them.
After returning home, Gong Tae Sung finds a new red envelope, reminding him that he reportedly killed Lee Yoon Woo. He seeks Do Soo Hyeok’s advice as someone he knows abhors him – Lee Yoon Woo’s manager.
A new issue will arise as it turns out that the Organic Bar owner, Yoo Gwi Nong, was Lee Yoon Woo’s manager, who hates Gong Tae Sung. He tells the other antis that someone died because of the actor.
At the end of the episode, Gong Tae Sung seeks professional advice due to the anxiety he feels because of camera flashes. Aside from the incident when he was seven, he talks about an event two years ago when Lee Yoon Woo died.
He reveals that he missed the funeral, so reporters flocked around him when he came back.
