Directed by Park Joon Hwa, Alchemy of Souls is an upcoming tvN drama featuring Lee Jae Wook, Jung So Min, Minhyun, and Shin Seung Ho.

The fantasy series takes over the time slot which was previously secured by another hit series, Our Blues.

Alchemy of Souls Plot

Alchemy of Souls explores the story of several people whose lives became twisted because of hwanhonsool. The phenomenon occurs after the soul of the dead return to the living.

Lee Jae Wook’s Jang Wook comes from a noble family who has a shocking secret about his birth. He eventually meets Jung So Min’s Mu Deok, an elite warrior.

However, her soul is trapped in a weak body, so she becomes Jang Wook’s servant. Still, in return, she teaches him how to defend himself in fights.

Former NU’EST member, Minhyun, plays the role of a good-looking and intelligent martial artist, Seo Yool. Meanwhile, Shin Seung Ho scored Go Won’s role, the crown prince of Daeho who wants to become a generous king.

How Many Episodes Will Kdrama Alchemy of Souls Have?

The Kdrama Alchemy of Souls will have a total of 20 episodes.

Alchemy of Souls episode 1 will premiere on June 18, and it will air new episodes every Saturday and Sunday at 09:10 p.m. KST. Its final episode will be available on August 21 if no delays suddenly happen.

Where To Watch Alchemy of Souls?

Fans can watch Alchemy of Souls --aside from tvN -- on Netflix. The streaming giant will air the series with English subtitles to its subscribers in selected regions. Fans can choose their preferred subscription plans to watch the series: basic ($8.99), standard ($13.99), and premium ($17.99).

Meanwhile, other streaming sites, like Disney Plus and Viu, do not have the K-drama on their lists.
