SHINee Onew will officially grace the music industry once again.
Onew has been leading his K-pop boy group, SHINee, since their debut in May 2008. He also serves as one of the lead vocalists who give life to their music. Although they have been successful in the industry, all members started trying different careers without leaving the group.
For Onew, he became an actor and singer for several series and movies OST. But he waited for a decade before launching his debut EP, Voice, in December 2018. He gave the project to Shawols days before his scheduled military enlistment.
Years after his fans heard a song from him, the K-pop idol confirmed his plans to release new music.

SHINee Onew Comeback 2022 – Confirmed!
Sports Chosun reported on Tuesday that the K-pop idol is gearing up to release a solo album in April.
In response to it, a source from SM Entertainment confirmed the news, asking the fans to give Onew’s new project love and attention.

Onew’s new album would be his first in three years and four months. He dropped his debut and last album in December 2018, titled Blue. He still appeared in several shows and musicals in the years thereafter, recording OSTs and having collaborations with other artists.
Although the report is new to fans, Onew seemingly hinted about it during his appearance on SBS’s My Little Boy.
“If you wait a little longer, I think I’ll be able to repay you with great music,” he said.
Onew Scored Gig In Forecasting Love and Weather
Before the buzz about his comeback emerged, Onew lent his voice to the romance series, Forecasting Love and Weather.
On February 27, he dropped the song Mind Warning, which the viewers heard when Song Kang Young’s Lee Si Woo confessed his feelings for Park Min Young’s Jin Ha Kyung during the series’ episode 4.
Onew collaborated with composer Kim Se Jin, who wrote the song.
