2PM Taecyeon shed some light on his reported alcohol tolerance.
Over the past years, Taecyeon has been receiving more spotlights, especially when he joined the acting industry while performing as an idol. But some of that attention was rooted in the buzz about him being an extremely heavy drinker.
But the K-pop idol already had enough that he is now speaking the truth about the issue.

2PM Taecyeon Says His Alcohol Tolerance is Not High
Ahead of his appearance on the new OCN drama, Blind, Taecyeon sat for an interview and pictorial for @star1 magazine.
During the discussion, he was asked about his status as one of the celebrities with alcohol tolerance. Taecyeon, instead, dismissed the claims and revealed that those were just false rumors.

“I think some false rumors have spread. My alcohol tolerance isn’t that high. I can drink about one and a half to two bottles of soju. In the past, the amount was important to me, but now I’m more interested in the taste of the alcohol,” he said.
Despite those talks, Taecyeon chose to focus on himself instead that he grew better to earn the nickname fashion terrorist. Per the idol-actor, he is no longer the Taecyeon he used to be as he already learned the importance of TPO (Time, Place, Occasion) in dressing himself up.
Taecyeon’s Co-Star Once Talked About His Drinking Habit
Most of his colleagues, including Lee Seo Jin, once talked about Taecyeon’s habit in one of his past interviews. During their appearance on the KBS program Entertainment Weekly in 2014, the actor revealed more details about the K-pop idol’s drinking capacity.
“We recently had a boozy gathering with actress Kim Hee-Seon. And I and Kim were knocked down by Taecyeon, who drinks really well,” he said.
Taecyeon and Lee Seo Jin were working on the MBC series, Wonderful Days, at that time.
As of press time, Taecyeon is busy filming his upcoming mystery thriller, Blind, that also features Apink Jung eun Ji and Ha Seok Jin.
