In Where is Wendy Williams, Shawn Zanotti is introduced as the TV host's publicist. Outside of her world, however, Zanotti works as a PR star and an accomplished author.
She also has a podcast and works as a TV producer and broadcast journalist. Zanotti is also the founder and CEO of Exact Publicity.

Upon checking, no evidence points to her getting terminated from her role. Zanotti continues to share photos of her client on social media. Since the documentary was filmed between August 2022 and April 2023, it can be presumed that Zanotti was still part of Williams' team during production.
This is evidenced in one of her posts on Instagram, which dates back to February 2023.
Not to mention, Williams' name continues to be on Zanotti's client list on her website.
Who is Wendy Williams Guardian? Why Did Sabrina Morrissey Sue Lifetime?
At the time of production, the identity of Wendy Williams' guardian remained private in court-sealed documents.
But just a couple of days before the documentary was scheduled for release on Lifetime, Sabrina Morrissey filed a lawsuit against A+E Networks, Lifetime's parent company.
The lawsuit was for injunctive relief since Morrissey was appointed by the court in 2022 to take care of the TV host. Prior to the documentary's release, Morrissey's identity had been unknown to the public and the family of Williams.
Unfortunately, the temporary restraining order was deemed "impermissible prior restraint on speech that violates the First Amendment of the Constitution." This allowed A+E Networks to air the four-and-a-half-hour documentary as scheduled.
