I think we can all agree that Marvel Studios once again hit the jackpot with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. With an impressive pandemic box office streak under its belt, it's already safe to say that the Simu Liu-led film isn't exactly a flop as some critics initially thought it would be and there's more where that came from for sure.

Fans who have seen the film are pretty satisfied with what they saw but apparently, some of the most important bits of the film didn't actually make the final cut. That includes a sequence featuring actor Florian Munteanu which would've explored Razor Fist's origin story.

Speaking with ComicBookMovie, the newest MCU baddie revealed that Shang-Chi cut a key Razor Fist scene but instead of being bummed out about it, he's pretty confident that the said footage will be seen by fans soon. Munteanu said: "We had that big end battle, and you [originally] would have seen a bit more there from Razor Fist. I'm looking forward to people seeing that because there was a reason why he replaced his blade with the dragon sword and fights with two swords, but I don't want to spoil too much and I don't want to give away too much."

Obviously, Razor Fist will return in the Shang-Chisequel, and with Wenwu no longer part of the equation, it isn't too farfetched to believe that Florian is set for a major role upgrade. I actually dig that because let's face it, as good as these MCU flicks actually are, Marvel Studios has had a bad habit of killing off compelling villains and I for one am thrilled that Razor Fist is being treated as a huge threat to the Master of Kung Fu.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is now screening in cinemas in North America.
